Jaromír Vašek is a correspondent of the Czech newspaper  “Naše pravda” (Our truth) and he is allegedly the chairman of the Society of Friends of the Luhansk People's Republic and the Donbas People's Republic - a legal entity registered in Prague. After being referred by the Russian News agency TASS as an international election observer at the sham referendum in territories occupied by Russia, Vašek reacted by saying he was in the occupied regions as an independent journalist.
