Boyan Chukov is an ex-diplomat and political expert from Bulgaria. In 2007 when he was one of the candidates for MEP, his studies at the KGB school in Moscow in the early 80s and further intelligence service became public knowledge. For the Parliament elections in 2021 he was a member of alliance called Bulgarian Patriots that didn't overcome the electoral threshold. He previously observed elections in Uzbekistan and Morocco.

During the “presidential elections” held in Russia from 15-17 March 2024, Vladislav Davankov (“New People” party), Nikolay Kharitonov (Communist Party), Vladimir Putin, and Leonid Slutsky (Liberal-Democratic Party) competed for the presidency.
