Dominique Bilde is a Member of the European Parliament since 1 July 2014. She is now in her second term having been reelected to the European Parliament in 2019. In the EP, among other committees, she is a member of the Delegation to the EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, Delegation to the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee and Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.

Dominique Bilde is from the National Rally / Rassemblement National (former National Front) party representing East France. She was a Regional Councillor for Lorraine from 2010 to 2015 and a Regional Councillor for Grand Est from 2016 to 2021.

Election Day was held on September 10, 2017. 82 out of 85 of Russia's regions took part in the voting. Only in Saint Petersburg, Republic of Ingushetia and Magadan Oblast no elections took place
