Dr. Wolf-Ruthart Born is a German diplomat, State Secretary of the German Foreign Ministry for Europe from 2009 to 2011. As ambassador, he represented Germany in Mexico, Ankara and Madrid. He is deputy chairman of the Institute for European Politics (IEP) and member of the advisory board of the Middle East Association.
