Catherine Griset is a French politician. She has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2019 and a member of the Identity and Democracy Group. She is a member of the National Bureau of the National Rally / Rassemblement National (former National Front). In the EP, among other committees, she is a member of the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.
In 2017, when working as Marine Le Pen’s chief of staff, Griset was charged with breach of trust after investigators found she and Le Pen's bodyguard had been paid salaries of about €340,000 of Parliament money while they, in fact, worked for Le Pen’s party - the National Front at the time.
