Philip Dewinter is a Belgian politician. He was a member of the Belgian Parliament 1987-1995 and has been a member of the Flemish Parliament since 1995. He is one of the leading members of the "Flemish Interest" party (Vlaams Belang). He called several times for lifting of the “anti-Russian” sanctions and headed the Belgian delegation to Syria in February 2017.
