Европа считает только себя демократичной, но в Осетии наблюдается большая демократия. Я удивился, что в бюллетенях есть графа «против всех», на избирательных участках есть списки избирателей, и можно узнать - кто проголосовал, а кто нет. Кроме того, неожиданным для меня стала прозрачная урна для бюллетеней, что позволяет всем увидеть, человек бросил свой бюллетень или нет. Это и есть принципы демократии.

Он рассказал, что в Бельгии голосование проходит по карточкам и сам процесс практически невозможно проследить. «Не раз предлагали предоставить программу для объективности процесса голосования, но нам не дают. Здесь же процесс намного проще и объективнее. Спасибо за гостеприимство, поздравляю вас с обретением независимости, и желаю Южной Осетии процветания»

On 11 November 2018, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, located within the internationally recognised borders of Ukraine, held “elections” to elect a head of the “republic” and members of its “parliament”. The overwhelming majority of the world’s nations does not recognise the sovereignty of the Donetsk People’s Republic, while international institutions such as the OSCE ODIHR considered “elections” there as illegitimate and did not send international election observers there.
