Ulrich Singer is a German lawyer and a member of the Bavarian Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) / Alternative for Germany. He is a member of the  Bayerischen Landtag / Bavarian state parliament since 2018 and a member of the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs, Youth and Family; the Science and Art Committee; the Advisory Board of the House of Bavarian History. Since September 2021, Singer has been co-chairman of the AfD parliamentary group in the Bavarian state parliament together with Christian Klingen.

On 9 February 2020, Azerbaijan held parliamentary elections. They were originally scheduled to take place in November 2020, but were brought forward after parliament was dissolved in December 2019.

The 8th parliamentary election in Russia was held from 17 to 19 September 2021. With the exception of the election in Russia-annexed Crimea, this election is considered legitimate.
