Matthias Dornfeldt was a Political analyst at the Berlin Centre for Caspian Region Studies at the Free University of Berlin. He studied law and political science at the Free University of Berlin, the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and the University of Potsdam. His regional focus includes Western Balkans, western CIS, South Caucasus and Central Asia. Matthias Dornfeldt passed away unexpectedly in January 2022.
