Member of the Bulgarian Socialist Party and the 37th National Assembly (1995). Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development (1995-1997). Guest lecturer at Illinois State University 1991-1992. He did his PhD in the UK and in the USA.
Corresponding elections
On 9 February 2020, Azerbaijan held parliamentary elections. They were originally scheduled to take place in November 2020, but were brought forward after parliament was dissolved in December 2019.
