Political activity

Jacques Myard is the Mayor of Maisons-Laffitte since 1989 and has been most recently reelected in 2020. Myard was a member of the National Assembly of France between 1993 and 2017. He was the General Councilor of Yvelines between 1988 and 1993. He was one of the founding members of La Droite Populaire (The Popular Right), a movement located on the right-wing of Les Républicains (The Republicans).
